American Lutheran Church of Sun City is a welcoming faith community dedicated to worship, learning, service, and meaningful connection. Rooted in God’s grace, we offer opportunities throughout the week to grow in faith, support one another, and build lasting relationships.
Bible Studies – Grow in Faith Together
Weekly Bible studies for learning, reflection, and conversation
Join Pastor-led and women’s Bible studies that explore Scripture in a welcoming, thoughtful environment. All are welcome—no prior experience needed.
- Pastor’s Bible Study – Wednesdays at 10:30 AM
- Women’s Bible Study – Fridays at 10:00 AM (Oct. - Apr.)
- The Ragamuffin Gospel Book Study – Thursdays at 10:30 AM

Worship, Learn & Connect
Sundays are the heart of our week as we gather for worship, faith formation, and fellowship. Join us as we celebrate God’s presence together and begin the week encouraged in faith. Regular Service Times at ALC of Sun City.
Our worship schedule changes seasonally, and services last about 60–75 minutes:
- November–April: Saturday at 4 PM, Sunday at 8:30 & 10:30 AM, Coffee Hour 9:30 AM
- May–October: Saturday at 4 PM, Sunday at 9:30 AM, Coffee Hour 10:30 AM

Join us each Sunday for traditional worship featuring inspiring music, Scripture, prayer, Holy Communion, and a Christ-centered message. Whether you're visiting for the first time or have worshipped with us for years, you'll find a welcoming community where faith is nurtured and friendships are formed.
Sunday Church School
Children experience Bible stories through Godly Play, music, crafts, and hands-on learning.
Sessions will be held on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month following worship in the vicinity of the Fellowship Hall. Whether you attend regularly or drop in occasionally, all ages are welcome to participate as we learn, imagine, and grow together in faith.

Start the week by connecting with others through creativity, conversation, and fellowship. Monday offers opportunities to share your talents, learn new skills, and enjoy time together with friends at American Lutheran Church.

Bring your creativity and enjoy fellowship while working on sewing, quilting, crafts, and other projects. Connecting Threads is a welcoming group where members share ideas, encourage one another, and enjoy time together.

Create handmade cards while enjoying conversation and fellowship. This creative ministry is a wonderful way to share your gifts and make cards that bring encouragement and joy to others.

Tuesday is a day to care for one another and serve with purpose. Whether you’re seeking support, offering encouragement, or using your gifts to help others, these ministries provide meaningful opportunities to connect, grow, and make a difference.
🧠 Memory Caregiver Support Group

Caring for someone with memory loss can be both rewarding and challenging. This welcoming support group provides caregivers with encouragement, practical resources, and a compassionate community where they can share experiences and find strength together.
🩹 Bandage Spinning – Women's Ministry

Join the Women's Ministry as they roll bandages for global health ministries. This hands-on service project is a meaningful way to support medical missions around the world while enjoying fellowship and conversation with others. Meets 2nd Tuesday of the month.
