American Lutheran Church of Sun City offers weekly & monthly programs designed to nurture faith, build community, and support one another through every season of life.

American Lutheran Church of Sun City is a welcoming faith community dedicated to worship, learning, service, and meaningful connection. Rooted in God’s grace, we offer opportunities throughout the week to grow in faith, support one another, and build lasting relationships.

Bible Studies – Grow in Faith Together

Weekly Bible studies for learning, reflection, and conversation

Join Pastor-led and women’s Bible studies that explore Scripture in a welcoming, thoughtful environment. All are welcome—no prior experience needed.

  • Pastor’s Bible Study – Wednesdays at 10:30 AM
  • Women’s Bible Study – Fridays at 10:00 AM (Oct. - Apr.)

Support & Care Groups – Support for Life's Journeys

Compassionate groups offering care, encouragement, and connection

Whether you are caring for a loved one or navigating grief, our support groups provide a safe and understanding space to share, listen, and find hope.

  • Memory Caregiver Support Group – Tuesdays at 9:30 AM

Creative & Service Opportunities – Create, Serve, and Share

Hands-on activities that bring people together

From sewing and crafts to card making and bandage spinning, these groups offer meaningful ways to connect, create, and serve others through shared talents.

  • Sewing & Crafts – Mondays at 9:00 AM
  • Card Making – Mondays at 1:30 PM (June, July, Aug. & Sept. at 10 AM)
  • Bandage Spinning – 2nd Tuesday of the month at 1:00 PM

Fellowship & Community

Build Community Beyond Sunday – Social gatherings and small groups for connection and fun

Enjoy fellowship through game days, monthly gatherings, and neighborhood groups that meet both on and off campus.

  • Second Saturday Fellowship – 2nd Saturday of the month at 5:00 PM
  • Game Day – 3rd Wednesday of the month at 12:30 PM
  • Friendship Groups – Meet monthly
  • Good Book Group – Meet 2nd Monday of the month at 10:30 AM (Oct. - Apr.)

Mondays at 9:00 am in the Multi-Purpose Room

Card Making

Mondays at 1:30 pm in Education C (June, July, Aug. & Sept. at 10 AM)

Bandage Spinning

Second Tuesday of the month at 1:00 pm in Fellowship Hall

Second Saturday Fellowship

Second Saturday of the month at 5:00 pm in Education A&B

Game Day

Third Wednesday of the month at 12:30 pm

Regular Service Times at ALC of Sun City

Our worship schedule changes seasonally, and services last about 60–75 minutes:

  • November–April: Saturday at 4 PM, Sunday at 8:30 & 10:30 AM, Coffee Hour 9:30 AM
  • May–October: Saturday at 4 PM, Sunday at 9:30 AM, Coffee Hour 10:30 AM
