Fauré Requiem

American Lutheran Church of Sun City has a soaring reputation in the Northwest Valley for their rich tradition of excellent music.

The ALC Worship and Music Ministry invites singers from around the region to lift their voices with the ALC Choir presentation of “Requiem” by Gabriel Fauré. This momentous program, under the direction of Mrs. Janet MacDonald, will be in collaboration with a chamber orchestra and Dr. James Gerber at the American Lutheran pipe organ to perform a truly timeless choral masterwork.  The performance will be on Sunday, March 12, 2023 at 3:00 pm in American Lutheran’s Sanctuary located at 17200 N Del Webb Blvd. in Sun City.

Please carefully note: Attendance at rehearsals is expected and valuable to the singer and the entire choir. If you are unable to fully commit to participating in a minimum of three — and preferably all four — rehearsals, please consider participating as an audience member instead. Rehearsals dates are 10AM-12Noon on:

  • January 28
  • February 11
  • February 25

Mandatory Dress Rehearsal with orchestra for all singers

  • March 11 from 10:00 AM-12:00 Noon
