ELCA Churchwide Assembly Comes to Phoenix

The 2025 ELCA Churchwide Assembly will be held July 28–Aug. 2 at the Phoenix Convention Center with the theme “For the Life of the World.” Key events include electing a new presiding bishop, voting on major social issues, and special gatherings like worship, an AMMPARO vigil, and an Indigenous-led powwow.
